According to scanner radio traffic, emergency personnel were initially dispatched to a high-rise alarm near the intersection of Broadway Street and College Avenue. Engine 343 and other arriving units established contact with an on-site representative. Scanner traffic indicates that at approximately 11:39 AM ET, Engine 343 declared a false alarm after speaking with the building representative, instructing dispatch to mark all responding units back in service.
